El Pollo Colorao in Palm Coast

This was a totally unexpected wonderful find. I was doing a search of local Latin cuisine and came across this restaurant. Being of Puerto Rican decent I immediately was interested and decided to head there for lunch with my dad. We were not disappointed. As soon as you walked into this small but quaint restaurant, your senses were hit with the smell of good food cooking. The staff warmly welcomed you in. Pointed us to the menu board and patiently waited until we made our decisions. The menu is not extensive, but offered several authentic dishes and side items that Puerto Rico is famously known for. With that said, my roasted pork selection with white rice and beans and my dad's chicken selection with Spanish rice and peas was truly amazing. The food was plentiful and priced right. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste the flavor of Puerto Rico...

The chicken and Pernil are excellent. Ocasionally travel from Daytona Beach to Palm Coast just for a nice meal there.

We found his place randomly on our way to St.Augustine craving Latin food. I'm glad we chose this place over the other one. The food was absolutely delicious 👌 we got there right after opening and everything was fresh . The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly. We had to try the relleno de papa, alcapurria, and pastellio which were yummy and not greasy like other places. If your in the area you must try and if not enjoy the drive to come and try it. They were very friendly and had great customer service which also adds to the experience. Next time I'm in town I will be back.

When my hubby works in Olmond Beach area I truly enjoyed going with him. The best PR food in the area. Love it!! Great Prices. An small place but it worth eating at the outside tables.

Best roast chicken ever!

Delicious!!I give this small place 5 stars and my respect. Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, food was very good and very reasonable price.Owner very humble and friendly. My 5 and 7 years old said “mom food is good”. Sancocho, white rice a Malta and a Vanilla flan. Very good for a long way headed home to NY. I will be back for my cheese flan 😀!

Went there for lunch with my kids by coincidence. We had a flat tire on 95 and stopped to get it fixed nearby. The food was very good and staff friendly - can highly recommend!

Nice small eatery that specializes in Puerto Rican cuisine. A must try and do not be shy to ask for suggestions. The food is tasty and well prepared.

It was an awesome experiense. Small and cozy restaurant, clean, and the food NO WORDs to express how good it was, the BEST food I have had in a long time. It was worth it the ride from I-95 to Palm Coast just to have lunch. Small place BIG in customer service, friendly and very humble young men! Kudos to El Pollo Colorao!🐓

Best Latin food in Palm Coast. You must try the Mofongo: a Puerto Rican dish made from plantain bananas and filled with your choice of protein. Great desserts and homemade bread too.

Wonderful, tasty food! Small & cozy. Great service! We tried mofongo, trifongo, pernil(roasted pork), chicken, white rice, beans and yellow rice. The desserts were also amazing! Thanks again guys! Wepa!

Excellent tripletas and they have Medalla!! It's hard to find authentic Puerto Rican cuisine in north Florida so it's very exciting to find a gem like this!

I love this new Puerto Rican restaurant in Palm Coast! Everything I have tried so far is delicious, I mean amazing.So far I have tried (several) beef empanadas, shredded seasoned pork, rice and red beans, plantains, and my favorite their chicharrónes!I look forward to trying everything on their menu and cannot get enough of this place.Staff has been more than polite when I have placed a to-go order over the phone and the times I decided to eat inside the restaurant.Everything I have tried has tasted so fresh and flavorful and that is another reason this restaurant has become one of my favorites here in Palm Coast I recommend if you enjoy tasting a wonderful meal. you try this restaurant !

A delicious experience of Puerto Rican food! Mofongo, Alcapuria, Sancocho and desserts like Flan, Tembleque, and Tres Leche won't disappoint!

Decided to try this place since it was highly rated! It did not disappoint! The food was delicious! It was a generous amount! And it was very reasonably priced! The only negative is that there's not a lot of space for seating. But, I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food and value! The servers were very nice and answered any questions I had.

I ordered a Tripleta. Which is a Sandwich with 3 different meats. I'm from Puerto Rico and I know Tripletas. The pork was so well seasoned and I felt they also put garlic mojo in the meat. I mean it was delicious. I'm only showing half a sandwich because I couldn't wait. 😆 and I also bought pan soabao which is a soft sweet bread they use for the Tripleta. I got a Malta too which is a malt beverage. So good. 👍Can't wait to go back.

I was craving for Puertorican food and found out that it was closer than expected. The food is great and the service is excellent. All the typical food from the island was there even Pasteles! You know what I mean... Pasteles!

Since I don't eat rice, I thought I'd give the mofongo a try since it looked and sounded like a good rice substitute. Boy, did they not disappoint! Loved it so much that I tried all the variations with it...chicken, pork, etc. I also tried their pork skins and they tasted super fresh! Love this lil hole in the wall place :)

Every time I have eaten here it has been delicious! Customer service is great too! They even give me extra little tastes of foods I never had before. And the prices are reasonable. Try it! You won't regret it!

Hands down the most authentic, freshest, flavorful food I've had in this area. We got the family dinner that was perfect. Mafunga was awesome. The bread is unreal. Going back definitely.

An hour before closing they won't have many items. We wanted to eat outside and informed them. The guy shows up with everything in bags asking if we needed plates. Well....we did but got the hint and left.At home when we open the containers the order was all wrong. No beans....just rice galore.A disapointment.

Great little place and good food. Staff is great as soon as you walk in they treat you like fam. It is a little tight to eat inside but it is a grab to go place not bad. I recommend this place to others if you are looking for a good spanish food place to go.

Food is usually good!. Employees are Always Friendly. Place is Clean. Portions are kind of small and the prices are a bit higher, but to be fair I am judging this by what I’m used to coming from another state..
